Rick, Donnie and Mark were a problem recruiting free agents certainly. But I don't think we should be getting our hopes up for Dame (he's not leaving Portland yet) or Leonard (he's not coming back to Texas). If we want to go back to big game fishing, we should at least keep it in the realm of reality.
I'll keep my expectations at the level of THT or Holmes.
There is absolutely no chance of Dame, and Leonard is highly unlikely. By guys like THT or Holmes are not big enough names. They are not "stars". The most likely get is DeRozan, but Ball, Conley and Lowry are not out of the realm of reality. If they are willing to trade KP, Hayward is a reasonable possibility as well (I have a hard time believing Portland would give up CJ for KP).
