Trade KP for air and you have the money to go after both. Bye-bye THJ and the full MLE if you go that route, but you might be able to pick up some nice players on tiny deals or trade some of our other, more expendable guys for good players. Brunson for Robinson?

Looks like a stout starting lineup to me. To be filled out with vet min guys, rMLE, BAE (think you have that regardless of cap room use), and whatever is left after trades etc. 

Note: That's a full-on pipe dream, because I don't think Ball wants to come here (although if we're the only ones willing to max him out, he probably would), and I doubt both that the Hawks would let Collins go and that he would want to leave. In any event, you're looking at three young players at $90 mil a year. Better get the supporting cast right.

You are probably burning at least Maxi and Brunson to get Collins and Lonzo, which means you would have enough cap space to get a center ready for prime time like a Holmes.  That team is ready to go, no need to go with a project at center.

To be honest, I think I would prefer Maxi next to Collins than a true center (assuming he gets back to what he was pre Covid).  That gives you the versatility to go 5 out and gives Collins the room to operate in the paint when desired.  I think a 3 man rotation of Collins, Theis and Maxi would be good enough defensively and provide a lot of options offensively.

Of course it is a total pipe dream.  I would be jacked just to get Ball.

I'd love to see us pick up Ball and Collins especially if we could grab Mitchell Robinson as well.  

Also, now that RC is in Indy, could we possibly have a better chance at Turner/Warren?

I would think Rick in Indy makes it less likely we have a shot at Turner.
