There might be a possible trade at the end of the day, that makes us better, but I wouldn't bet on that and I don't think the Mavs are looking in this direction at the moment.
Totally agree. Unless Casey says he has lost his mobility forever, or his relationship with Luka is not salvageable, then I don't know why we would want to dump him for air, especially with an underwhelming free agent class and a Luka super max looming. With a new coach and a healthy off season, there is a very good chance he will at least increase his value.
All that being said, if Charlotte offers up Hayward for KP, I would probably pull that trigger. Sign Holmes and THJ (or even better would be Norman Powell) and you have probably significantly improved the team.
