You're absolutely right that Nurkic isn't a scrub. I like him as a basketball player. I also recognize that he's one of the few guys in the league that has been even less reliable than KP. Further he doesn't necessarily fix any of our issues that we have with KP and he creates even more problems because he isn't particularly a great rim roller or a floor spacer.
Nurkic would be fine as a flyer, but not for KP. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills to be the only one that sees this.
