New piece from the Toronto writer for The Athletic on potential landing spots for Kyle Lowry.  He delves into NY, Miami, Philly and Dallas.  The Philly package mentioned in the last sentence revolves around G. Hill, Curry and Maxey

Thanks for posting. I think when thinking about players like Lowry (and Conley and CP3) it all comes down to a simple question. Is Dallas ready to be a serious contender? This is a question Lowry will be asking himself and his decision will likely have much to do with the answer. It is also a question Mavs should be asking themselves. There is absolutely no point in bringing 35 year old vet if you need 5 years to build a contending team. The Cato piece certainly throws a lot of doubt at how ready Mavs really are. Still, there is plenty of time to remedy that. 

Personally I think a guy like Lowry while keeping THJ to be a 6th man is certainly a serious step. There are no super teams around the league and if the Mavs were able to take Clippers to 7 games a good piece to the puzzle might be enough to push us into serious conversations. Getting Lowry while loosing THJ - I am not so sure the incoming quality could provide big enough upgrade. This is why I said, that the minimum for me to think the offseason is ok (B-) is keeping THJ and bringing one quality player. It might take a little creation, but not that much. If the move is to renounce THJ and sign another guy instead, than sorry, I am just as qualified to be a GM. If the move is sign THJ for 20 mil and spend the rest on MLE level guy, than sorry, that is also not good enough for me.
