That has not worked out as well as hoped, but I think if they are going to replace JRich it is going to be someone who can play quality perimeter defense. After the big dollar guys (Conley, Lowry) you get down to RFAs (Ball, Graham). There are not a lot of options here, and most of them will be expensive. There is a good chance they are going to have to do some kind of trade to get that guy.
Dragic is not a bad team defender. J Rich just hasn't been good. Lately I have seen him make some defensive plays but then he blows it in transition. I think there just aren't a lot of options out there so they will settle back on finding a guy who at least can make plays. They have Green who should start getting more rotation minutes to help with defense. They just don't have the roster construction really for a great defense so they will go back to offensive efficiency and try to be good enough on defense.
