KP came up on the Hardwood Knocks Podcast.
Their take is Dallas is one to 1.5 players away from a championship. They don't think Dallas will trade KP. What Dallas wants to see is another star that can be 2A or 2B with KP or maybe makes KP the third best player on the team.
They did start by saying there aren't obvious trade suitors and mentioned Charlotte (what Rozier-plus package would Dallas want? Would Charlotte do that? They went to something similar to what was discussed here). By the end of the conversation they said the market for KP would be "vast" and he wouldn't be "hard to trade". But, they concluded it could happen, but more likely a year from now and only after a disappointing season. Preference is KP Plus another really good player and they want to give that a shot.
