I know you're right I was being greedy and trying to get Collins and still have some cap room left. If you nix that piece then you could bring back THJ at $12 mil and have about $16 mil to go get another player or two. May also change the algebra on what to do with the Room Exception because you'd still have Powell...though I'm still thinking you would target a rim protector like WCS or McGee.
THJ may get the Wes Matthews treatment where they just tell him they have a piece of pie and he gets whatever is left over from that pie but it won't be less than "X"
Bottom line I don't see a path to push the bench guys to the bench and fill out a solid starting group without a KP trade.
