Luka uses the threat of him to score to open up lanes. If Luka toned down his scoring those lanes shrink. Further, despite Luka's otherworld talent of setting people up, his scoring ability is that much better. It'd be a shame for him to turn that down (and possibly a massive mistake).
I think Luka could seriously average 40 a game.
I think the threat of him averaging 40ppg is what opens the passing lanes. The difference with the above scenario is he wouldn't have to score 30+ because the rest of the team was more efficient with his setups.
