Pretty much this. We have lost at least a couple of games this way. Sitting guys on the front-end of a back-to-back is riskier. Obv you would have better odds to be full-strength against a weaker opponent and then rest guys on the back-to-back, basically guaranteeing a loss but you hedge your bets.
