Brunson is the future anyway, I’d just start him and sign him to an extension. He has earned it. Always performs, great locker room guy, constant improvement every year. That’s a building block right there and probably the second best player on the roster all things considered.
The time to trade for CP3 was last year. Unfortunately we didn’t. He’s still an elite PG but I don’t want to be the team that signs him to an even longer contract that he already has.
Cuban needs to grow a backbone. No crawling back to players that rejected/insulted us. Though Conley used us for leverage, I think he is still a character guy and he wanted to be loyal to the Grizzlies. Guys like VAJ + JJ redick, Deron Williams or Danny Green are far better examples.
