WCS' option shouldn't be picked up. If Boban or WCS wear a Mavs jersey after this season, it will be a huge disappointment. Mavs got past DAJ scorning them so I'm sure the can overlook "cartoongate" and Howard. I'd honestly sign both to 1 year deals given the option. Worst case is you could flip them to contenders at the TDL. Those are guys that can contribute night and night out and someone like Howard might start more often than we'd imagine.
I like Holmes too but I do worry about the Mavs going for the homerun (Collins) and then trying to pickup the pieces again. A Holmes/THT offseason would be great and then you make the decision on veteran free agents and what to do with THJ/JRich.
