I know he's having a down year but any interest in Aaron Gordon?  Gordon is averaging 14 points 7 rebounds 4 assists.  He's shooting 43% from the field, 37% from 3, and a paltry 63% from the FT line (he's a career 70% FT shooter).  Orlando has lost 7 in a row.  They're the 2nd worst team in the Eastern conference.  I can't see Jonathan Isaac and Gordon coexisting next year when Isaac is back.  Gordon has 1 year left on his deal (he'll be an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2022).  I doubt Gordon will resign in Orlando.  Could we do Johnson's expiring deal and 2025 1st round protected pick for Gordon?  Maybe throw in a Josh Green or Tyrell Terry as a "sweetener"?

My thought process is Gordon would slide into the starting PF position.  Kleber could go to the bench and strengthen that unit even more.

Gordon fits in the youth timeline.  He's only 25.  His agent is Bill Duffy (Luka's agent).  Just a thought.

Gordon makes a ton of sense as well for a buy low change of scenery player we could mold into a 3rd/4th star offensively. The Duffy connection is meaningful. I’m just not including a FRP for him. He seems like a top offseason priority guy. This summer he would be expiring and either Green, Terry and two 2nds gets it done or it doesn’t and we move on. Too risky when our future with KP is too uncertain. Got to keep our remaining 1st’s for that true star where we go all in(too early for that)
