I wish Aldridge was more like Marc Gasol who could age gracefully even after he loses his scoring potency because he was an elite ball facilitator and could help you even if the shots don't go through him, but can't help but think the reason why he's on the outs with the Spurs. They have no choice but to cut him loose because he's a net negative when he's on the floor. It's not like the Spurs have a wealth of front court players and if Pop was in the mood for a complete rebuild you would have thought they would have done it in the offseason and not when they're in the 7th spot in the West.
I know no one wants to see it, but Lakers are probably the best destination for him because LeBron can alpha dog him into accepting a more suitable role for where he is in his career like he did with Rondo and Howard. On the other side of that coin, I think it could be a disaster if he went to the Clippers because that lockerrom is already filled with so many moody players who have an over-inflated opinion of their abilities.
