I definitely like the 2 first round picks part of the deal.

First round picks have become the most overrated asset in the world. Really reminds me of this clip from Family Guy of all places:

Sure FRP are good to have. How often do those picks become a player like KP? Further, if we're just getting assets to trade for a 2nd star, why not just keep the one we already have. We need to UPGRADE KP if we can. Not take 5 steps back and in the process take on another oft injured 30 year old PG that is by all measurables is having a worse season than KP.
