In fact I've gone back and skimmed almost every single story Spears has wrote on The Undefeated since 2018 and he almost NEVER makes predictions on paper. Instead he writes exposès about transactions after they've occured. So now we're going to believe he has an incredible piece of info from one of the most tight lipped orgs, that is also not corroborated by the 2 most reliable reporters on the Mavs?
All I'm saying is believing Spears rumor mongering is akin to believing Chris Broussard.
That AD "won't get traded scoop" wasn't really wrong, he said that when Dell Demps was still the Pelicans GM, and the Lakers did not own a top 5 pick in the NBA draft. It wasn't until the front office changed and the lottery balls went NOP's way to move on from him.
