To me the trade to make is Warriors Wiseman, Oubre + filler for KP which may or may not include the Minny pick depending on who is more desperate to make a deal.

Mavs aren't going to win a title this year. Neither are the Warriors but I think they would do a Wisemen for KP deal in a heartbeat bc he fits their system and championship window. KP would slide into the Durant spot that they had a few years ago and altho KP is less talented he also fits their flow offense better than Durant did. Durant does a lot of iso and very effectively but the Warriors basically had to change their offense to make it work.

Warriors would resume their 4 star lineup with Curry, Klay, Draymond, KP in 2022.

For Mavs I don't think Wiseman is a step back because he fits better and you are also getting Oubre who is a good player + more importantly a lot of cap space. The cap space this offseason would help you grab another player or two.

I just think Wiseman is a much better fit for this team going forward and lets you spend money on other positions.

I guess I need to go back on hehestreams and watch some GS games with him. I read a Phil fan saying he is probably in the running to be runner-up ROTY currently. That is promising in an admitted deep but not top heavy draft class. Getting that 2021 would be pretty necessary for me though. Oubre instead of Wiggins doesn’t work salary-wise but if you add a Iwundu for Bazemore it does and I like that a ton more! Oubre looks to be basically the same as Wiggins in an expiring and much more cost effective deal.
