KP has been far and away a better player than Kemba has this year as well. Which should be saying something given how much criticism KP has gotten. Kemba is due more money than Zinger too. This is a tanking move if I've ever seen one and sets the Mavs back multiple years.
Know what? You’re right. Taking on Kemba right now is dumb. I saw a chance to get rid of KP’s contract and net some picks (and Pritchard) and jumped. But yeah, taking Walker back nullifies much of the benefit.
...only because of his injury, though.
