This reporter is a Knick beat writer, but he laid out the rumored asking price for Beal right now.

One longtime GM laid it out specifically: three unprotected first rounders, two pick swaps, a young player and an expiring contract. That’s approaching Harden territory. The Nets, as the News reported, had internally discussed acquiring Beal long before exhausting their assets for Harden."
That's certainly a very very very steep asking price. Zach Lavine certainly wouldn't cost that much. But if we assume that's the tippy top end, we can guesstimate that Lavine would probably cost 2 FRP+1 pick swap+Young Player+ Expiring contract. Mavs could certainly do that but it'd be their final all-in move.
