Depends if the MBT view this as a rental or a long term plan.  If they intend to resign Drummond, I'd offer up Jalen.

Aside: I've been thinking about KP trades for fun. I wonder if there is a deal that could be done centering around KP and Vucevic. 

Given the iffy fit on the face of it with KP, I'd feel Drummond would more be a rental than long term in my gut. In any case, I'd never offer what is probably our best trade asset for Drummond. I think Brunson can be apart of a Beal package, not a Drummond one to me. 

It's hard to gauge a trade for KP. Like on the face of it Vuce is having undoubtedly a better year. But does it make much sense to trade a 25 year old with a 30/10 ceiling, for a 31 year old that is nearing the end of his prime? 

One KP trade I've been kicking around with is calling the Wolves for KAT. They're on similar timelines, similar games, similar contracts. Heck even KAT has been hit with the injury bug the last 2 years. I just don't know why the Wolves would do it, or the Mavs for that matter given how similar KP/KAT are.

It depends on a multitude of factors but I see him as a long term option at center. 

If he is willing to take a Steven Adams type of contract around 16 million I do the trade and I am willing to do the following:

Dallas 
Andre Drummond 
Call up Tyler Bey

Cleveland 
Al Horford 

OKC 
James Johnson 
Dwight Powell 
Mavericks protected 2nd 

Yeah that's probably the max I'm willing to go for any Drummond trade, and it eerily matches up with the value CLE gave up for him in the first place. 

The only roadblock I can think of is the Mavs letting go of Powell, who we all know how fond they are of. Especially as a locker room presence. Is a Drummond rental experiment worth losing that kind of voice in the locker room? I think so, the Mavs probably don't.
