The Nets might not be the ones to hand Drummond his next contract, but they sure as heck will be the BEST place for him to showcase himself for the next suitor. There is no other place besides maybe TOR that can offer Drummond the kind of role he'd have on the Nets.
He'd be able to get all of his numbers, and would barely have to create for himself. I could genuinely see him averaging close to 19/19 on the Nets. Then after he puts up big numbers and perhaps even show he can be on a team that can go deep in the playoffs, some team will undoubtedly toss big money. Maybe NYK.
