They will also be paying like hundreds of millions of tax money (effectively making his contract cost like 100 mil per year) for a team, that very likely stands no chance of competing for the title. They could probably try to dump Wiggins, but it will take assets. GSW has Wiseman, Minnesota pick that might be excellent if it doesn't end in top 3. Trading Green for draft assets or good young player could speed up the rebuild process significantly and save them a ton of money. They are not that far from getting another lottery pick anyway...
