There is a lot of disagreement on Turner's value but my read on the situation is that he is actually a negative asset bc of his contract, not because he is not a good player. I would love the Mavs to get him if they could pair him with KP but my guess is that they want KP to be the lone big in the starting lineup so they don't need an 18 mil/yr backup big.
Dipo to me is the guy they would want so that your lineup is Luka, Rich, Dipo, DFS, KP. I don't think the Mavs would give up an asset for Dipo absent an extension. Otherwise Dipo could just walk away. If it's like THJ plus a couple 2nds that is the most I would give up for a rental unless you can get an extension done as part of the deal. If Dipo will do an extension then its worth giving up some kind of asset to keep him from hitting free agency.
