Totally agree, and I might add that it seems like that kind of trust tends to be built by teams who play together for awhile and are pretty confident they have enough talent (code for offense) to win.
My thinking is that great team defense requires a level of sacrifice that isn’t likely to be made in a situation wherein it’s unlikely to mean much.
