What he is, until proven otherwise, is damaged goods. His type of injury is not an easy one to return from. This season will be his litmus test. I am a fan of his fit here but, realistically, we need to be careful in investing any more dollars in a player with an injury profile. I'm fine with one of them and we have that in KP but KP has a ceiling that is infinitely higher, making the risk much more tolerable. Oladipo has had one, dominant season and that was pre-injury. For Dallas, it has to be wait and see.
* as to this market as a FA, people do struggle with the associating what a market will bear with their evaluation of a player. If Oladipo has a good season and is mostly free of injury, he's going to get paid.
