With KP and DP starting, Maxi was the bench 5 as Boban is disadvantaged in an up tempo game or against a heavy perimeter team.
That said, I'm very curious if the WCS improvement is real or just an early (pre) season blip. If his performance is sustainable, then the big rotation might change, but I don't know how. I'll leave that to wiser heads than mine.
There are a lot of new dynamics with DAL this season and I'm looking forward to how everything plays out. Luka+JRich could be the new Steph+Klay. WCS new commitment to improving his game. THJ role moving forward (moving down the options ranking?). How well do a couple of the rookies develop (including Hinton). How long to get KP back to his late season form. Is this Luka's new playing weight.
So much to watch. A hell of a lot more fun to go into the season expecting to win instead of just hoping the team doesn't embarrass itself too badly.
