I wasn't saying WCS was disrespectful, I hope it didn't sound that way. I just have my doubts that this kind of leadership really pushes everybody to give not just their best but more. What motivates players more - see Luka "having fun" or (for example) Lowry diving for every ball, sacrificing his body and not giving up an inch? Luka will be Luka and he is a great guy. Everybody loves him. I don't want to change him. He will change with getting older, as we all do. Unless he will stay a big baby like Shaq
Everybody loves ShaqWhat I am saying is Dallas might use one "Lowry" to push everybody. Push in a positive way, not by being a tyrant. Plus bring vet calming presence when things get serious. And, because "Lowry" type is respected by everybody, he would be able to hold everybody accountable - even Luka. Early reports indicate JRich could be that guy. Although I doubt he has the power and respect to hold Luka accountable.
