Good pickup. He will help lead them to the minimum team salary for years to come.

It´s Charlotte. Who is he supposed to get back? Zeller, Batum or Rozier.

120/4

MJ is batshit crazy.

So it wasn´t Ainge saying no to Turner. It was the Pacers, who said that number is just stupid.

My guess is Zeller ends up in Boston.

They can just send someone (MOnk) to NYK or OKC cap space.

Told ya'll. No way Hayward was ever going to take a giant paycut in that first year. Doesn't happen. When you opt out of 34 mil its not to get 3/80 or something like that. He is getting 30/yr. Wouldn't even surprised me if he starts year 1 around that 34 and then the salary decreases year over year. Something like 33, 31, 29, 27.

I mean...wasn't your point that he wasn't opting out?

I thought he was going to get paid all along, too. At the time, I was so grim about the Mavs' situation that I might've been happy with this deal (or at least a 3-year version). Since then, they have pushed my ass squarely into the 'believer' camp, and I'm so, so happy this contract isn't coming here!

Is there any mathematical way that Powell for Zeller works without giving up something good?

Me, too...but this seams like the dumbest possible way to create the space.
