I am not sure any of those teams mentioned is a realistic option to land Simmons.
- Minnesota would sure like him but there is no one it would interest Philly, unless they put Edwards on the table. Russel is massively overpaid. Beasley and Edwards would fit nicely with Philly and this is what I would ask for.
- Sacramento doesn't have top end talent outside of Fox and Haliburton. Even Haliburton plus Hield sounds weak offer. Add #9? But then Sacramento has very little left to build around. Difficult for me to see it for both teams.
- Cleveland would be building offer around Sexton for sure, but that is weak. Their salary matching vets (Love, Prince, Nance) are extremely meh. Asking Cleveland for #3 alongside Sexton probably makes them put down the phone as they have very little left to build around. Philly would really have to be high on Sexton for this to make any sense.
- Indy allegedly offered a deal around Brogdon (plus Warren or Lamb to match salaries?) and #13. Looks like it wasn't flashy enough, although I think this trade kind of make sense for a win now team. Perhaps squeeze another pick from Indy. I fail to see how Indy would work with Simmons, Turner and Sabonis.
- Toronto has an all star type player in Siakam but there is no place for him on Philly as they already have Harris. I guess #4 is off the table for Toronto. FVV and Anunoby makes the offer basically same as Indy.
Siakam to Por, McCollum to Phi and Simmons to Toronto could make sense for everyone involved. Add picks or complimentary moves to level it out
