Yes. Trading for Westbrook and later Capella for Covington made it clear they are desperate. It was quickly clear they don't have any more chance to win it all.

Off course. Bogdanovic is overpaid imho. They basically had to do a decision which one to keep. Smart move would be to trade one last TDL, but since they didn't... Alternative (which I might still chose) would be to still match his offer and trade him later. But to support their move - what if his contract becomes untradeable (negative value)?
