Shams is slacking.

I reported that Batum would pick up his player option two years ago. Cool

Wonder what Bobby had to say. His tweet is now unavailable.

The Fournier opt-in date is non-standard.  His date was alway contractually set for prior to the draft.  So, he is in play to be sent out in a draft day trade.

Quote:Monday deadline for player options

Anthony Davis: $28.8M
DeMar DeRozan: $27.7M
Mike Conley Jr. : $34.5M
Evan Fournier: $17.0M
Robin Lopez : $5.0M
Nic Batum: $27.1M
Tony Snell: $12.2M
Stanley Johnson: $3.8M
Wesley Matthews : $2.7M

My guess is we go 7/9 on opt-in

Hey, as long as it’s not an extension like what we talked about for Hayward, there are worse ways to go.

AD and TC both opted out. So the other 7 opt in?

Fournier is one of the few trade targets I would have little problem with giving up 18 for, but a lot of guys here seem not to like him. I wonder if there's something about him on Google that makes him unpalatable to some.

IKR, a little non-sequitur - but I bet he's talking DFS. Out of that bargain trio of DFS/Maxi/Curry, while the other two are more flashy in what makes them special, DFS is the one I would lament the most, because he's the most legit starter, and at a contract much less than the other two.

I feel a little bad for Silas, but on the other hand, he can cry all the way to the bank.

KL, regarding Fournier, he's one of those guys who I wouldn't mind trading for who are expiring in '21 whom I would be willing to keep then if they were willing to take a bit of a GA/KL haircut. Oladipo, OPJ, and Hayward are all in that category for me (and Schroder would have been).

Nic Batum is stealing money. He hasn't been good since he left Portland.

I am quite surprised with this trade. Brown has showed improvement and production for Detroit, Musa was less than impressive.
