Didn't Lebron James made an Instagram post a out Barnes trade and how ruthless are teams? 

Lebron does whatever is best for Lebron. He has a fragile ego. He wants to be the GOAT. He knows that he can't be the GOAT because he had to manufacture the perfect situation for him by creating a super team not 1, not 2, BUT 3 times in order to win anything. 


He despises that he's seen as a ring chasing mercenary, even if he's such a great player. The narrative of players not being able to do whatever they want to do with no consequences is the sole reason in Lebron's head why he isn't seen as the undisputed GOAT.

So what does Lebron do when he sees the perfect opportunity to justify his behavior? He takes it. Frames it like "SEE?? IM...er I mean PLAYERS HAVE TO DO WHATEVER IS BEST FOR THEM. LOOK HOW RUTHLESS THESE TEAMS ARE." Even though Barnes DID have knowledge of a trade, and him playing was HIS choice. Facts don't matter to Lebron's narrative. 

It's unfortunate that I think after Lebron retires, he won't just go away. He is probably the biggest primadonna to ever enter sports as a whole. And that's saying something.
