A meniscus tear is not a huge deal. Is it a longterm concern? Sure every leg injury KP gets will be a concern. That being said this one will be fine, he should be back before long. Lots of guys tear their meniscus. They are not going to shut him down unless he has a new injury. Again ppl are being overly sensitive about it. I expect KP to play most of the season.

Agreed that people are overblowing the concern of a meniscus tear.

It seems he had a repair though, so he'll be kept out till mid January at least if that's the case. I expect it to be around 15-20 games. Not ideal in a shortened season, but since its in the beginning it's not the worst thing.

I hope the Mavs find some extra firepower.
