FWIW, THJ is excellent in the PNR as well.
But he doesn't do much creation out of it. Different play styles. THJ brings alot offensively too.
The one con I do have against Bog is do we want him or Richardson as the starting SG now or in the future. And I think with Richardson's multi positional defense, you could see Richardson as being preferred between the 2.
I'm completely fine if the Mavs take is we don't want him here long term and don't want to get stuck with him or give up something they do want here long term. By all indications Brunson is someone they want here longterm so that could be why they wouldn't have interest in making a deal.
