Johnson and Bey will be PF's in Rick's system.

Bey is going to play for the Legends 95% of the time

Actually, A) are we even sure that the Legends will exist this season?

B) as Donnie told us the other day, the 2-way contracts don't have day/game limits this year, meaning they can essentially be with the Mavericks full time. There are essentially 17 roster spots. 

Super smart of Donnie to take advantage of that with Bey to create an extra roster spot for a vet. If they don't use it, they can simply convert Bey to a real roster spot at any point.

So, while it's possible Bey doesn't figure into the immediate on-court plans, I'd say it's premature to make that declaration.
