I wish there was a way to rent an NBA front office executive for like 30 minutes and have him break down the disparity of how NBA Front Offices think vs. how fans think about players like Favors.

Curious. What would you expect to be the answer? I don´t think there would be much of a disparity to be honest.

That fans think he's a starting 4 for a contending team and NBA front offices dont.  Though I guess Utah has just proven me wrong on that, but they have a long background with Favors and they have one of the worst 4 situations of any contending team.

Ok, I see your point. I expected to be your answer to be that fans underestimate the intangibles and the rebounding + defense, that Favors provides. I think most fans are smart enough to see that Favors isn´t a starting PF next to a guy like Gobert. Absoult horrible fit, I agree.
