I listened to Cato podcast yesterday and he pointed out we are weak at PG (expecting Wright will be gone) and how he expects we pick up a vet for part of MLE. Augustin was mentioned as an option. We basically only have Luka and Brunson. I don't think JJB is good enough for another season.
So, my wishfull thinking would be to trade for White from San Antonio. It would cost pick(s) but he could be another very good long term solution. His contract is very low, so Jackson is enough to match him salary wise. Of course pick(s) to compensate SA. SA has quite a logjam at guard spots and they drafted another PG. Are they willing to pay him long term? We can also take some of their money (all expiring anyway), if they want.
