Dallas finished 2nd in the RoCo sweepstakes.  Portlands 2021 1st rounder put them over the top.

This hurts to read. But also understandable. Portland paid a ransom for RoCo. He isn't worth that, no matter how good his fit was. 

I think Richardson brings 90% of what RoCo brings, AND we got a pick with him too.

Hard to get into bidding wars without a 2021 1st.  Everyone thinks next year's draft class is loaded, so those picks are valued at a premium.
