That's an extreme overpay. Hayward is basically only a solid starter right now. He's not a star. He's now 30. I'd rather trade for Tobias Harris on his awful salary then trade any decent asset we have for Hayward.

That's a bold statement, my friend.

I at least know Harris is going to be available to play. And his offensive stats are actually better. Defense I don't think is as good.

And make not mistake. I want no part of Harris. But I want no part of GH even less if we are exhausting every decent asset we have.

For a guy who isn't a 20 ppg guy? No thanks. His career scoring average is 15.3ppg. He's a good defender but he's not winning any DPOY awards.
Dear Lord please stop. Health is the concern with GH. Otherwise, Hayward and THJ are not in the same stratosphere as players. Hayward made an all star team the west. He’s a 20/5/5 guy that can do a little bit of everything. THJ we kept from being a complete bum and one of the worst players in the nba by telling him to just catch and shoot off Luka dish outs.

This isn't 2016/2017.

Thats the year he made the all star team and it's the only hear he's had 20ppg. He's not a 20 ppg guy. He's a 15.3 ppg career high. He had 2 years of 19 ppg and 1 year of 20. And then 17.5 last year.

6 of his 10 years he's been 16ppg or under.

He's over 30 too. He's also not been a high volume 3 pt shooter for a long time.

You guys are way overrating Hayward. And I'm very interested in acquiring him.
And if you are going off past performances still Hardaway was actually a pretty good player before the Knicks got him. He averaged almost 15ppg his last year in Atlanta with similar per 36 numbers as last year. Got a few less minutes. He's also more of a shooter.

I'm not saying THJ is better. He's not. But I think they are actually pretty close. That's the type of player Hayward is. I'm not sure either is capable of being the 3rd guy fwiw either.
