It was not me proposing to trade all our assets for Hayward, I wouldn't do that. As far as the above, I don't agree. Mavs went "all in" with KP. There is no waiting, it makes no sense to lose another season just because of that. Even if we sign Gobert in FA, we are still far from contention as KP is not able to play (this is why we signed Gobert). Boom or bust, no other option here. KP longterm health does not have any effect on Mavs decision making, imho.
