The door is open if Dallas wants to move up. Houston could offer something like PJ Tucker + 16. The Mavs can easily beat that if they're willing to part with Maxi (or DFS?). Of course, Wright+18+31 would be even better.

Gotta say: given the events of tonight, I think the Mavs are even farther away from true contention than I've been saying. While I wouldn't hate a move for Hield or someone else who fits, this whole notion of adding more developmental YOUTH is looking better and better to me.

Still so mad we didn't take advantage of last year's transitional phase. Next year and going forward I think we're going to see teams a lot better than the 2020 Lakers.
