Which you assume, but don't know for sure  Theoretically, if the price is THJ+#18, I think it is extremely small risk from our side. We could gain a lot from Dipo in his contract year (even his post injury version is a better defender than THJ) and keep our flexibility. If he doesn't work out - well, we would not be contenders with THJ either.

That's all true, to a point. I would submit that the downside of such a deal could potentially be not making the playoffs, and I'm not ok with that. 

It is possible that Oladipo regains the form of that one, great year. But, it's not like he hasn't played since the injury. You're correct that I don't KNOW it won't happen, but I think you're underselling the probability that it won't happen. Just my opinion. They vary. 

I, personally, would pass.
