Not every one, but quite a few, maybe. I'm agreeing with you.

The problem is that Dallas is a team who feels like they're contending. I think people who think they're trying to trade him are crazy. In the right deal, sure.

I just don't see him as the long-term solution. If you're just going to tread water (i.e. internal development or bust) this year, he's fine, but the combo of inadequate shot creation/playmaking and poor defense make him a guy who should not be starting on this team unless Luka becomes a very good defender (he's surprised us in so many other ways...).

I'm fine with Lavine in THJ's place in spite of the lousy defense (he makes THJ look like the Glove) because he's so good at creating that the ESPN site considers him a point guard, and it's probably deserved.
