I mentioned that, actually. Dan said he doubted it because of salary matching.

Rubio CAN guard the best GUARD the whole game. Not wing, but guard. And, we have heard that Carlisle and the Mavs are fans of his game in the past.

Not saying I'd do it, but I'm just trying to put the pieces together.

I don't believe it, but IF THIS IS TRUE, it's a home run.

Many of the guys we like will be there at 10. Hayes, Vassell, etc. I'd do it, for sure.

@"DanSchwartzman" in your scenario, where would Wright/DFS end up?

At first blush, using the names we started with, it is challenging to get Rubio to LAC.  But then my thinking evolved to include Beverley.

Wright and DFS end up in OKC.  If you think about it, they reportedly like Poku-man.  They would get 10 in the deal with Rubio and Oubre.  Then they trade off Oubre/10 to Dallas and get Wright/Poku/DFS.  That seems reasonable to me and makes great sense from the standpoint of 2021.  OKC then sells off Rubio to LAC for Shamet and enough salary to make this legal.  Maybe that is Beverley.  Maybe it is some smaller pieces.
