That was my thought, too. The Mavs are going to have to improve tremendously not to have Phoenix not end up with a better record if both teams were to enter next season with the same rosters with which they finished the last one, and I think Phoenix is going to improve plenty roster-wise as well. CP3 would be a whole 'nother level. I think it's a pretty safe literal bet that Phoenix finishes 2020-21 with more wins than the Mavs if they were to acquire CP3 - unless the Mavs acquired a third star this offseason, which I would regard as extremely difficult given their roster situation.
