Looks like Oladipo is trying to stay in Indiana very hard with these statements. He is significantly reducing the willingness of anyone not named Miami to actually offer a trade proposal to Indiana they would accept.
All the chatter lately has been that there really isn't a trade market for Oladipo. I've heard several people claim that teams are telling them he was so bad in his short post-injury stints that nobody wants to offer anything for him until they "see him look like Oladipo." Basically, Indiana is hoping he'll play well enough early to be worth more at the deadline.
