Boston trading for Gobert likely requires Hayward going out. If he's not that keen on going back to Utah, the rumors about him considering opting out to force a S&T to a 3rd team start to make more sense.

Also falls in line with the Mavs being okay with taking on salary for a 3rd star. Hayward isn't a star per-se, but he was one. And his skillset fits right in line with what we need on the wing. He isn't too shabby a defender as well. Just has to stay healthy.
