Thanks. I don't think you answered, or I overlooked. Doesn't matter, thanks again. This basically means (for example), Buddy Hield salary on draft night is 4,8 mil. Interesting.

So, that last part isn’t exactly true.  Hield is a Poison Pill player for trade purposes.  You can look it up in the Coon FAQ, but he is basically untradable on draft night to a team that doesn’t have a bunch of 2019 cap room.  A deal has to satisfy the rules regarding both the old number and new number.  You can do a Poison Pill deal if the spread between old and new is narrow, but the chasm is wide with Hield.
