I could understand if you wanted no part of him because of his injury history or even his contract, but locker room cancer was not a knock I was expecting!
Cancer is way too strong of a phrasing. More so childish. I'm not sure if he's the type of dude that hates losing more than he loves winning. I'd also be concerned about fit and him accepting a 3rd banana role.
