No KP, Luka or DFS.  I guess we get some Boban, JJB and MKG instead.

Mavs really want to play Clippers in the first round :-(

Maybe, but we are the kings of throwing in the complete scrub team in some games only to have them pick up a surprise win because the other team didn't take them seriously enough

I'm sure that is the plan Smile

Crazy how Wright is at the bottom of the rotation, but that's where he deserves to be. I doubt he will be here next year.

Well...So far I have learned that THJ and DFS despite all their flaws are playing starter minutes for a reason. Back up wings and guards (Barea, Burke, Cleveland) are even worse.
Burke has the confidence and shot selection of Allen Iverson. Sadly he does not have the skill or touch.
Barea moves like a 5`10 oldman Dirk. Should definitely retire.
Cleveland has zero experience. Mistake after mistake. Feels like he never played for or trained with the team.

Lets see what Reaves can do. Never mind. First possession and he gets embarassed by Mudiay.

Maybe we will see some MKG later in the game. He had some good moments in the few minutes he played vs the Bucks.

Starts playing well after I type this...

Reaves can go. He can´t play at this level vertically, laterally or mentally. That´s about as outmatched as I have ever seen a player.

Happy to see Mudiay play well. Felt like he was on his way out of the league a few years ago. He plays pretty savvy.

Trey Burke has to be among the lowest IQ players in the league. Terrible decision making. Terrible shot selection.

On a positive note. Even Gobert cannot stop Boban. THJ getting touches might help him to get back in rhythm. MKG played solid defense.

Looks like Utah is done scoring tonight

MKG hasn´t scored a point or attempted a FG but he is the most impactful player on the floor.
Kleber/MKG might be the best front court combination when KP rests.

His +/-  team high of plus 23. No points, but his defensive play is putting Utah uncomfortable shooting.

MKG, I need you to be a 3 pointer specialist when Seth and THJ are bricking. You be both, stopping other teams leads, and building our own.

Mavs bench beats Jazz bench. Don´t really know if it helps us. Snyder basically tanked the game. Wonder what he was thinking.
Right now everything is possible. Nuggets overtaking the Clippers. Mavs passing the Jazz.
Would be the most Mav thing ever do get the 6th seed and still end up in a matchup vs the Clippers.

So it is on. We need to go 2-0 on Wed/Thu, and thereby handing the Spurs enemies two losses, that will likely give them something to play for against Utah on Fri.

LOL that would be the Mav thing ever. Fate has us playing the Clippers no matter what.

Utah shorthanded starting five was just killing our a little more shorthanded one. In the end, they were too good for Utah guys on positions 12-17. Nice win.

Good for THJ and Curry to get some offensive action. THJ still sucks defensively. MKG was a beast on defense. He single handedly killed Utah offense by completely stopping Mudiay. I wonder if Mavs can hide his non existent offense. Opponents will always be able to hide their centers on him, closing the driving lane for Luka. I could see him playing alongside Boban. Boban is good in PnR and can work inside even if there are more opponents around him.
